Very nice. Is the FR4 plate in black? Also what is stabilizer spacer?

yes. and since the PCB is thinner the stabs dont sit flush with the bottom, the spacers fix that

FR4 sounds p good and is between poly and alu flex-wise

I'm going to join the hiney PCB probs because they good, but couldn't the PCB technically just be ported over to the QMK Configurator? Didn't someone do it for both Alice and Jane v2 already?

That was done by Merlin. Both Nick and I already helped testing it afterwards, but oddly enough I couldn't manage to get qmktoolbox to flash the hex file. It's still qmk programmable after the porting, but might not be as nice as something natively supported by qmk like hiney's pcb.

qmk requires 32u4, bootmapper requires 32a controllers

but i believe there is some finagling that can be done

but yeah native QMK makes troubleshooting a lot easier as well
