Just read through all of your blogs and I am inspired. I'm only at the Novatouch stage of my life and reading your stories makes me want to venture out to the adult Topre life!  :p

Also, I want people to see KeyKollectiv (kudos & koala-t) not as a cap churning machine-business (extreme, I know) but as a hard working, dedicated, and zealous duo who goes through so many trials, tribulations, and late nights to bring us these amazing caps. Often times I think we dehumanize Artisans because we just see a product and a price but we don't see the toll it takes on the makers nor do we see the amount of work and investment it involves. I for one, after reading the blog and having a chat with Binge, view Artisans a lot differently now.

Keep up the good, KK, and happy 1 year!

I also am glad to have read through the whole blog, I had previously probably only read a post or two. Getting a feeling for the process they go through is fun and makes me want to support them. I didn't win this one but maybe the next sale with make KK my first artisan.

Thanks for taking the time to read the blog. The original intent of maintaining the blog was to document the journey for ourselves. It's amazing to hear that we have a bit of a following now. Your encouragement is much appreciated.

On another note, new blog post is up. It's short.

Nothing worse than impostor syndrome, definitely suffer from it myself, but the good part is it keeps driving you to do even better.

Great post, and I know you guys will keep up the killer work. IMO your guys best work is the SnacKeys and Mod sets, so I'm always looking forward to see what you and Koala have cooking up.

That was an amazing post, and as a creative, I completely understand the 'arms race' that you mentioned. All I can say is, don't forget that there are things that are more important at the end of the day (blasphemy I know, I live and breathe my art too) and that sometimes it's good to step back for a bit to avoid burning out and other issues.

Keep it up!

Really enjoying reading the blog so far, definitely makes you realize that artisan makers are real people behind these pieces of plastic that we find so mesmerizing. Definitely surprising that it's only been almost a year but the designs look so refined already.

I jokingly told my SO about your guys' story and how we could follow a similar path... Definitely would be an interesting experience :)

We put in secret code when people aren't looking and show full transparency when they are. That's the key to good hype.

I'm not sure if I smell another collab on the horizon, or perhaps something even bigger. The blog post almost seems to hint toward an expansion of keykollectiv entirely. A new team member?

My mostly transcribed typing video:

Quote
tis has honestly been the weirdest experience I have had so far with a n y sale. i’m not sure if it was because it was a collaborative effort, or maybe because I wasn’t as involved in the creative process nthiseas i usually am, like with Meowcaps and key-wallas. I can’t seem to put my finger on it, but frankly speaking, i have enauttermess ever is nice we started this last sale. It seems all of us are in some weird creative funk.

I have to say mthough, it has been so nice to make so many new friends in the process. there er so many talented and creative in this community, and i am just totally blown away
Thanks for the great work, guys! Looking forward to whats next.

Damn guys. It's been one whole year!! The progress KeyKollectiv has undergone in the past year is astronomical.. From Meowcaps V1 to Furt to Kosmnavt, the past year has been an incredible journey from the fan side. I can only imagine how nostalgic you and Koala-T feel when you look back at the past year. I'm looking forwards to another year of innovation and awesomness!! Here is a little photo album I put together in celebration for today :D

I personally don't like the way they did the contest. I can't sit at my computer all day and wait for a question to be posted, but some might, so I have 0% chance.
