I really don't understand the complaints about Slack. I personally haven't seen anything released exclusively on Slack. Sure, some people might have known about the Topre Mods a bit earlier because of Slack (which was actually why I joined in the first place), but that didn't give anyone an unfair advantage as far as actually getting in on the sale. I think it's totally understandable to not want to use it if you don't want to, but you can't complain about others using it if they want to. As far as I know, Slack is open to anyone who wants to join, you just have to ask a admin for an invite.

This. I use Slack, but I found out about the mod sale from the KK instagram. Sure, we might get sneak peaks, but like Otesanek said, that doesn't give us the upper hand on these raffles. It didn't benefit me in any way, but that's not the reason I use Slack. It's just fun to, dare I say, slack off at work kek. Slack rules.

KK distributes information via all forms of social media from my observations - I miss everything from instagram because I have no interest in the platform. News of the mod sale going live was via the email newsletter. Pictures of KK mod sets may have seen a bit quicker by some people on slack, but they made their way to other places too.

Come to think of it, I can't think of any artisan releasing slack exclusive information - everyone present there is also quite active in their own respective threads/subforums.

I think KK's communication is pretty top-notch, especially compared to how other artisans operate.

You give us times and dates and communicate quite well if anything goes awry. Not the whole

All R3 invoices have been sent out. Koala and I will be watching inventory levels closely this weekend as we pack orders. The following possibilities could arise:

1. Someone cancels and we redraw their order
2. We may be left with excess and will try to salvage what we have to complete sets
3. We will have child sets left
4. None of the above

In the event that more inventory presents itself. Rest assured, we will contact people with raffle entries pending.

I've won 2 raffles in the two years I've been here, probably lost 40-50. Just enter and forget about it, or you'll be let down.

Now I'm trying to decide whether I should get a printed or blank white HHKB for these mods. Going to throw the orange ones on my black Realforce, but want a white HHKB for the Bianchis. Not the worst dilemma ever.
