On the bright side, if something can make you feel this way, doesn't it make the chance to get lucky meaningful in some small way? I think Butters said it best:

A lot of...salt in here already. I really hope you guys aren't as discouraged/grief-stricken as you seem. Just keep your chin up. There will be some unpaid invoices left over if you didn't win this time. And if you still don't get lucky, maybe you will on mechmarket with a dank trade or retail cap. AND if you still don't get lucky, maybe you will in the next KK raffle.

Try to make it a less stress inducing event for sure. I totally understand what it feels like to lose out on raffles. I went 0/14 straight on another artisan's raffles XD

With that said, I think KK do a great job handling their raffles and certainly make them fair for all. Just you know, there were a ton of entries, not everyone can win.

I have to agree with Bee that, although it sucks to not win, KK does what they can to ensure some of the fairest cap sales. No method will be perfect, but they try.

I also have to agree with her that there is always the unpaid invoice raffle and classifieds/mm. Some people will sell caps because the colors aren't quite what they expected or because they wanted a keychain and won a lychee. I have already lined up a sleeve for example - the buyer wanted the chance for the cap more than the sleeve itself (super excited to get that PM)... so dont give up all hope yet.

Congrats to all the winners, condolences to the rest - and thank you to KK for doing it in the first place.

I love love love that sushi keychain! I just checked the keykollectiv website hoping I could grab one but I guess it was just part of the bento raffle :( Hopefully I can just grab one aftermarket from someone!

MomKollectiv sale when? I'd be really interested in seeing how many people would go for that stuff when there is no chance of keycaps attached to the items.

We actually had one about a month ago. It went pretty well. I've been thinking of ways to make MomKollectiv stuff more accessible but we've found that piggybacking on our keycap sales tends to increase sell-through of keychains/sleeves. If we have any extras left from this sale, I'll be sure to update the thread about it.

You are the reason Koala-T and I have sat down to discuss designs for V2. Spoiler alert, Keywala v2 is a release we want to explore. Bad news, not likely happening in 2016.  :thumb:
