Kind of ruining the fun for a lot of people....

I don't mean to ruin the fun for anyone, as I'm not sharing how to get through the puzzle. I'm just sharing my best guess at the end result. The end does not say February 24 nor does it mean my guess of cosmos is correct.

You directly shared an image that is locked behind the puzzle, dude.... It's the same as telling someone how a film ends. Yes, people can still make their way to that image, but you ruined the surprise and satisfaction of doing so.

Anyway, as Kudos said, you gave away any advantage you could have had by sharing those answers/predictions. So maybe don't do it for the next in the series :thumb:

Well I thought KK was just creating a way to find an early announcement/tease, and not something to be spoiled and kept secret. I'll keep future progress and answers private. I didn't mean to take away anyone's fun

I like seeing what others have come up as I am **** at this kind of thing and have no hope anyways.
Biking is fun.

Yeah, that's totally fair enough. But it sucks for people with the opposite view to come across spoilers. Spoilers with no warning on them (there is a spoiler tag). A spoiler can't be undone, whereas it's easy to ask someone to share the answers in private.

Anyway, feel free to do what whatever you want. Guess I'll just have to unwatch this thread and hope I can continue in all the future challenges without referring back here  :'(

I get that. I suppose threads like this pose a potential risk of spoilers as well as a potential risk of new information. Very tricky.

Just going to say that, the hints on this page were helpful (and having played a few enigma browser games in the past) to get to where SoftKeys got.

I will come back soon.

Hey guys,

I wanted to chime in with a few comments. Furst, I wanted to thank you guys for your enthusiasm and perseverance. As a fan of cryptography, I can definitely appreciate the desire to share the findings we come up with. However, we do understand that different people enjoy puzzles like these differently.

Initially, we wanted to create a series of challenges that would reward the fans that wanted to engage and participate. Because of that, our approach was meant to be subtle. We understand that there were very few details introduced-- so interpreting these challenges as teasers/spoilers is a natural assumption.

We wanted to leave things open-ended and let the people participate in the manner they wanted. Obviously, we needed to rethink our approach. In an effort encourage the spirit of these challenges, we have decided to release more details about this event. So here it is:

  • This challenge will take place over the span of the next few weeks
  • It will be made up of several segments. Each segment will yield a message/clue
  • When we conclude, we will ask participants to submit their entries. Any entries sent before we announce the end will not be considered
  • You will have 1 chance to submit your answers
  • There will be rewards for completion. These awards are very limited so please consider this when sharing information amongst each other

Lastly, we understand that spoilers are unavoidable. As such, we will make modifications to the challenge so that images/sound files will only help to advance progress rather than giving details of the nature of the next sale. We ask that participants be respectful of one another. Godspeed.
