ISO return key sticking
« on: Thu, 08 September 2022, 08:04:07 »
Hi everyone, first time poster here!

I recently replaced the standard ISO keycaps on my Keychron Q1 with some EPBT ORIGAMI from KBD Fans.  The only "sticking" point is the ISO return key which doesn't return to position after I hit it.  I read on another forum that PBT caps can warp and a hair dryer could fix the issue but I haven't had any luck trying that out so far.

Any advice will be most apreciated.

Thanks

Did you also replace and/or lube the stabilizers? This can happen if they’re over-lubed.

No, this is still using the stock stabilizers with the stock lube.  I'll try cleaning and re-lubricating tomorrow.

Still no joy after cleanign and re-lubing the stabilizer I'm afraid.  It's harder to locate the new enter key on the switch compared to the stock one from keychron which leads me to believe this is a warping issue.  Gonna try heating up the new kaycap and bending it again...
