High bidder contacted seller and asked to be removed from bid. As he was not going to have funds available for the sale. Item will be sold this week to high bidder. Sheel bidding is against ebay policy and seller would not do that and jeopardize his livelihood.  Was not fair to high bidder to keep item running exposing his max bid and making it a easy snipe. contacted high bidder and asked him if he alright with that and he stated it was in his best interest to do exactly that. Hoping that I have serious bidders this week. I wish all bidders good luck.

Yes..I was told it was up on this forum and I read the comments and I felt I needed to comment before more speculations arose and set record straight. I am just a average ebay seller and had no idea these items were so sought after, until the last auction when crazy. Just thought I would set the record straight. I started it at same price and will let it fall where it may to the highest bidder. Have a great day guys.

No, I do believe he was genuine but he stated he had a unexpected expense come up and was not able to pay for it if he had won it. No biggy things happen and life goes on.  Just unfortunate that I had to wait another week for it sell.

Good luck in the sale jimmerjimmer2, SSk's are already pretty rare and sweet, but a NIB one is even better  :thumb:

That's TOTALLY NOT POSSIBLE

Only Geekhackers are enthusiastic enough about keyboards to put in such high bids.

Ignorant outsiders would be picking up keyboards from Church sales and thrift shops for $1.  :))

yup, geekhackers are bidding.

You think?

I was assuming that it was ignorant outsiders.
