Any chance the Fn layer can be customized or remapped by the user? Some keyboards like the Rapoo V7 are programmable, it's an awesome feature.

Excited to see how these turn out.  I loved my Poker but hated that ~ and Esc were the same key.

will the standard version have connectors to solder on LEDs yourself or is that hardware completely absent from the model?

^ I am guessing that the PCB will be the same for both versions and the only diference will be the leds.

From the manufacturing point of view that is easiest way

^ As  far as I know the anniversary version comes with: ABS keycaps, black alu case, and w/LEDs. If you like the black cases, it make sense to get the anniversary. If you want to have any other color, I think is better to get the LED Version and buy later the alu case. According to Vortex they are going to offer different colors :-)

I see it's NKRO, is that NKRO over PS/2 or USB? Does it work properly with Apple computers and Linux ?

Ok, so it's 6KRO. That's great news, 6KRO is the best (plenty of keys and least amount of problems). NKRO (unlimited number of keys at the same time) keyboards like Noppoo choc mini have problems with Apple and Linux.

Haha, thanks. As Pro user, I would be really interested in programming the keyboard, to change the Fn layer to my liking, is it possible for a user to program the firmware? For example, the Rapoo v7 comes with software to program it and change keys around.

Is it possible to order the LED Version and replace the plastic case  with an aluminum case? I do not want the plastic case and I will prefer to save that money to get the aluminum case? Do you know how much will cost the aluminum case?

I just looked at the layout again, and although it looks superior to the current poker, getting caps might be harder because of the custom size of the right shift and the "~" key won't be the same row as the normal "~" keys.

As far as those two caps go, the right shift should be the same width as a capslock, right? I would just get all my modifiers blank because I use capslock as control anyways..

It's the same x1.75 width as the Capslock, but the profile is different since they are from different rows. For someone who is nit picky about these kinds of stuff (like me), all the profile must be in the correct rows, and currently there are no Shift cap in x1.75 size.

I guess that's just another reason to buy the PBT caps that are offered with the board? Maybe they'll release cap sets.. Still, it definitely is much better than the RACE.
