Wow! I didn't even know Dolch was produced with German legends as well!

Where did you get that set? Must have paid a fortune for it...

I bought a complete Dolch computer on ebay some time ago.

Cleaned the caps this morning.

But that Poker is not the final solution/home for that set. I need a board where I can use more original keys, especially the 1.5 mods for the bottom row and the original spacebar. Maybe also something bigger... more like mx mini.

Did you install the green LEDs yourself? I thought the ISO Pokers were only available with purple or white LEDs...

No, I bought it on amazon.de like that. mx black + green leds. The other option for the mx black was blue leds. But I prefer green, especially cause I had that green gummyrot skull. I love how it glows with a led behind it.

But the mx blacks on the poker just don't feel as good as the ones in my g80-1800.

I don't think that the G80 is sturdier, it's PCB mounted while the Poker II is plate mounted. And the keycaps should be the same since these are original Dolchs as far as I understood?

It definitely is a matter of opinion. I guess I was more trying to point out that there are many variables that could be the cause or even collectively be the cause of the better feel to the G80.

And what color is the text on the modifiers in HyperFuse? Sometimes it looks cyan, sometimes it looks like it has a slightly greenish hue to it. HyperFuse has quickly become one of my favorites.

And I just remembered, you got the Trifid Nebula set. I'm excited to see how that goes with HyperFuse.

The white balance on that looks pretty close actually, it's just overexposed by about a stop and a half.

Finally finished my 6019284 mod. Just added some stabilizers to make this an ANSI layout.

I never worked on an M or F before so there was definitely a learning curve. Thanks to fohat.digs for his Model F Bolt Mod guide which was really helpful. And to The_Beast for giving me the idea and answering questions.

Oh and of course, thank you ricercar for sending me some of the white modifier stabilizer inserts for free <3.

Looks awesome, I am waiting to get keycaps until we get them converted, then I will go get a quote for media blasting and powder coating it again. I need to remember to ask you later on how exactly I would go about converting it to a more standard layout. :thumb:

Thanks. Nub caught on to that and was nice enough to further help me out with two orange themed caps. Also, the stain on the left and right portions look slightly mismatched but its just the camera and lighting. It looks better in person.

added retro dsa to my completely rebuilt from scratch ErgoDox #2 which i made in a marathon keyboard building session this weekend.

I forgot how awesome retro looks. getting ready for my dream DSA set HyperFuse to Arrive

ErgoDox #2 has aluminium plate and custom case designed by MOZ that turns classic hand ergodox into full hand ergodox and it works well with the aluminium plate

I gave it Ergo MX Clears 62g korean springs and browns with 55g korean springs on pinky keys, Used silicone dry lube to prevent sticky keys but i need to lube it proper later with Krytox Magic Mix. There is other stuff i have planned too such as custom LED lighting on both hands (think of the GON cases lighting) and lower profile screws. It will also get Hyperfuse DSA.

also finished today was this phantom (my third one ive finished) with MX Blue with 45g (super light) korean springs and blue stickers. WFD125 Plate. Vortex aluminium case. Selling it to a friend, waiting on Hyper Fuse DCS

I think eventually im going to create a new topic with all my keyboard collection and recent mods. I do a lot of keyboard stuff and sadly i never share it on the keyboard community......
