I love the first 60mins of that movie.   :p

That movie launched the film career of R. Lee Ermey.  Hired as a technical advisor, Kubrick cast him as the DI after seeing an audition tape Ermey put together.  The rest is history...   :thumb:

And that brobot really works well with the rest of the Commando caps!  Nice complementary color scheme!

Looks fantastic! Also, just got my first PCB mounted board with Browns (Pure), and I wheheartedly agree that they feel amazing. Head and shoulders above plate-mounted browns (I've owned three other plate mounted boards w/ browns).

Here's my contribution for the day.  Thanks have to go to Paranoid for the amazing cable and Margo Baggins for fixing my botched soldering job...





Now just to desolder, plate, put lubed ergo clears in it, sticker the switches and reassemble - sounds like a job for a half-term day to me!

Edit: The LED is purple btw - just the crappy lighting in here means that the closest I can get in terms of white balance makes it look blue-ish...

Very classy looking indeed snoopy. The beige lock decal really pulled it all together in my opinion. Reminds me a lot of my Goupil G80.

Thanks! It took me quite some time, money and patience to get all the parts together. Still have to change the leds and cable. I think I will ask one of the cable-guys to make me a nice custom ps2-cable in beige.
And if I find the time (and more patience) it will get some lube, stickers and 62g springs.

PS: I'm currently on the hunt for parts for Frankenboard #2 and #3. Soon more...  ;)

Black/Gray two-tone looks best on a black keyboard case, in my opinion. That's definitely a favorite G80 for me, snoopy.

To all:  The LED color should look green. But I am too lazy to correct color hue.  :blank:

I used my mobile took again, this is the closer color.
