I moved the internals of a CODE keyboard with Cherry Clear switches into my Filco TKL Aluminum Vortex case. I'm pretty happy with the end result, and the color scheme reminds me of a burly MacBook keyboard.

Thanks! When I had the CMStorm QFR in the aluminum case, there were no LEDs to line up with and it was a pleasant surprise to see them on the CODE. On closer inspection of the CODE case, the LEDs aren't hidden but the opening for them is small enough that I never noticed them.

yeah, it sucks that the font color is so different. I would love to put a led behind it... but I'm not sure if I will do that, cause of the color. same prob with numlock and scrolllock. But I have the doubleshot alternatives for each of them. In real the difference is not so huge as it looks on the pics.

If you leave the led where they are, I suppose you could just put some orange celo on the under of lock light decal and use white led. If you put in switch you only need to add a few jumper wire on the PCB and swap the 3 resistor above the caps lock led.

Added clipped cherry stabs to GHPad (still need a single SMD part from regack to finish it off >_>). Holy ****ing **** clipped stabs feel 10000000000000000000000000000000000x better wtf?
