Enough Plasti-dip to hide the Dell logo on this AT101W...
Show Image

It looks fuzzy, but feels like stucco.
I plastidip my trigger last weekend
It ended up looking better but I found the texture is somewhat weird,  it's soft and feels like it can be easily peeled with just the wipe from the palm,  don't you think?

Well it's essentially liquid rubber. And it's meant to be peel-able. However, people plasti-dip their car (something I'm also considering as a cheaper alternative) and they hold up to the elements and car washes, so I don't imagine it would have much trouble in other uses.

The bold section ..

Plastidip somewhat holds up under a wash. High pressure can tear it (ask me how I know), it is advised to bucket wash with a low pressure hose

Perhaps under some conditions, but with enough layers and there are plenty of Youtube videos showcasing high-pressure washes and no troubles from my research so far.

I really don't because I can't find a set to go with it! :P

I would suggest:
  • white on black
  • black on grey Imsto dyesubs (or blanks)
  • classic two tone
  • light grey/"hellgrau"

All of those should look decent. The problem with colourful sets is that they can clash with the teal of the peacock.

Most people don't notice that the Peacock case has a mint cream hue to it as well. It's not the standard Cherry light grey. Colorful can be good looking with the right colors!
The OTHER Miami! By way of Odessa and Tokyo!

otherwise I agree with BlueBär on going with hellgrau or white/beige.

That light green is nice.  It would be a bit light by itself on the keycaps, but works perfectly with the darker green!

Given that these Dolch DSA are ABS, I'd guess that they have none of the warping or off-centre stem issues that Granite had, at least that pic looks fine.  Any comments?
