I just got these from Shapeways today. The first one is supposed to look like some kind of molten metal in a canister and the second one is a turbine. It's my first time printing keycaps out of different materials. Got to say I'm pretty pleased with how they came out!

"Raindrop" buckling spring



so unicomp does not make a 7x bright white spacebar and beige frame does look a little off with the bright white so here is what i was thinking when i bought these

take my cheaper model M or buy a trashed one just for the frame and then paint it blue, use white vinyl and put it onto a 7x buckling spring spacebar

I rate that as is. I think it looks really good with the stock spacebar.

Unfortunately I had a really hard time applying the sticker due to the small letters, and was unable to properly get the NERV part of the sticker on (which is why it's so misaligned from the left). Maybe another time I will try to perfect it but for now I'll settle

Built a case/wrist rest for the JD40 today.  Wood is Purple heart and is finished with Tung Oil and then waxed.  The mounting area is routed out so that the bottom is solid.  I still need to get the correct hardware to mount the top plate and a small enough drill bit for said screws, but overall, I am happy with it.

Beautiful board. My original dream Korean custom was that exact board~ Black metal 60% with WoB OG Cherry caps but with WoR Cherry ESC.

I got bored earlier and decided to try if i could do some ghetto sculpting with some very basic
and probably inappropriate tools and materials I had laying around.

The cap is from a nasty old rubber dome board because I don't have any spare MX keysets
that I was willing to sacrifice for the test. xD








This is what it looked liked after some very quick modeling and sanding.

Now I know the gasmask is not a innovative design btw, it was just what worked best for a very simple test from all
the things that came to mind at that moment so I somehow ended up with this...




After a quick molotow spray can treatment...




And on the nasty board! (Wow it looks even more dirty on camera Ö_Ö)


The hole process only took a few hours including curing times, but since it was just meant to be a test
and I don't even have a real use for the cap I figured it isn't worth wasting too much time on it...

I still decided to share it here tho and am kinda happy it turned out at least kinda remotely presentable...
(Or lets say not way too embarrassing to share xD)

You should solder a PS2 cable directly to the PCB, I think it looks beautiful.

I was thinking of doing that, and I eventually might, but mimic-cables is making me a rj45 female to ps2, which will look really nice, I got it in neon pink w/ a coil. The only reason why I currently decided not to directly solder a PS2 cable in was to see if I like the board, and I also wanted to see if I like the blues, and if I don't then I will do all the mods I plan on it, maybe swapping blues out for greens.

White double shot keycaps to my Dell AT101W. Also will be swapping the black alps for Matias click switches painting the plate.  Thinking about painting the outside of the case.
