Didn't add anything, but I did detachable cable mod my second filco. I'm not sure why this mod isn't more popular, it's ****ing fantastic for me.

I actually kind of like it when the spacebar matches the case instead of the keys, although I think the effect is better when there is large contrast between them.

Just got the red modifer set in, here it is with the original Rag base set. The Rag set been sitting in the bag, unused ever since I got it, so finally got a chance to install. Dressed up the keyboard, took the pic, both sets went back in the bag.

Too lazy to open it up right now, but all I remember seeing is like 3-4 solder points. Except, mine has special LEDs on a bunch of keys, so there's all these additional trace wires on the pcb connecting to the same controller thingy...

well I could make you a coiled cable with USB on one end and stripped wire on the other and you can install it yourself

There's a guy on KBD who made them for the Cheats. Pretty sure tsangan and jcrouse have them on their Cheats, but theirs are PS2. Let me see if I can find a pic...

I can pretty much do anything as long as the cable fits into the USB connector cleanly

Still working on being able to solder Mini USB. That **** is outrageously hard to do freehand, and i dont have helping hands or anything like that yet

Is there enough clearance to use a floppy power connector there? If so I would solder on one of those so it would make changing cable easier, can just crimp on the molex then and plug it in.
