I appreciate the praise, but I'm not doing anything special. Just paying my stuff forward. I am a firm believer of not hoarding stuff that I don't use :).

The only thing left from being demik's is the case, plate and pcb. I ripped those yucky MX blues out, and added in ergo clears - lubed and stickered to perfection ;)

I like the Esc LEDs - apart from never having actually seen purple ones before, the mod is really well done and suits the key cap perfectly :)

I didn't know you could just add LEDs to pokers like that. :o
I thought that there had to be some support for it on the PCB, or is there actually something like that already there? Would love a little tutorial about it.

I'm fairly certain it's possible to wire the LED's up to the existing ones on the board...but a little tutorial would be helpful.  I'm not sure if it requires any additional components.

The PCB already has the holes for LEDs, no compenents are required except the LEDs ofcourse. It's simply adding wires

So do you just solder a bit of wire from where the Esc LED is attached on the bottom to the WASD after putting the LEDs in there?

That's green and red, not green and orange!

Oh, is that orange?  It looks slightly off-red on my monitor.

My bad :(
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
