Slightly more on-topic, the 11 coloured keycaps from the WASD sampler kit:

Show Image

Those sampler kits looks nice. :o

They are!

11 coloured key caps (only top row, though), 4 MX switches (these are optional), and a handful of O-rings.

Well worth the money :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Oh, you can actually exclude the switches? Looks like I'll be getting a sample! How many O rings are there?

^ This.

Plus you can get the keys etched or engraved (for an extra $2).

Excluding the switches knocks $4 off the price (which at $8 for the complete set including switches, is more than reasonable imho).

Get the switches and make your own housings for yuor own custom keycap key rings ;)

Haha I was thinking of doing something like this (ordered an extra single switch of every type with my Clear order on DT). Would be a fun little project. I wonder how carving one out of wood would go?

Also, the switches in the sample pack are plate-mount, right?

My signature hasn't changed since 2012. I should really update it.

I was thinking of using the housing from an existing Ducky keycap key ring I have, but that kinda defeats the purpose.

Pretty sure you're in the wrong section.
1. Make enough productive and non spammy posts you can to be able to post in the classifieds section or wait for someone to put up a FS/FT thread advertising them.
2. When you have enough posts (60 I think it is) go to the classifieds section, make a wanting to buy thread.
3. Wait for someone to sell you some.
4. Buy 100000000000 things while you're at it.

A set of Blank Keycap from WASD ... might have done something wrong as they feel a bit ... strange ... I don't know ... the possition when I'm typing doesn't feel natural. but I don't know if it's just me as there is nothing written on the keycap.
Also added the 4 heart keys to the top, the arrow and the chocobo key (from keypop)

EDIT : I'm sooooo Stupid!!! actually yes the row is written inside of the keycap and I was wront ... I placed the R3 row in the R1 and the other way around ... that's why it felt a bit strange ... It's really better now!!!

^ Deja vu.
