Unbranded, nice =)  How did you make those blockers for the winkey?

I could be wrong but I think the case is from a Japanese 10th Anniversary edition Realforce.

Just received my cm storm QFR with browns. I had the same keyboard but the spanish version (ISO layout) because it was cheaper but I just couldn't get used to the ISO layout so sending it back and just got this. I guess this definitely confirms they will all be labeless on the front from now on. I bought it from amazon.
Green (from their sampler set) and grey keys are WASD. White keys are PBT from qtan. Still looking at all the group buys trying decide what keys I want haha I'm fairly new to this...

Oooh did my first full keyboard mod. Completely desoldered all keys and LEDs from my FC700R and put it all back together with stickered/lubed ergo clears and pink LEDs. Took forever, but feels really nice with the original cherry double shots I put on there. I might be regretting not putting a stiffer switch on the spacebar, but I've also been typing on MX Greens mostly lately so I probably just need to adjust.

I got the idea from the_beast to use Super Lube on the springs, and I put just a little bit of sewing machine lube on the sliders. Nice and smooth so far, and I like it considerably better than the browns it used to have. Much easier to feel the tactile bump now.

Desoldering LEDs made me want to eat an entire baby. Disassembling switches that aren't on a pcb weren't as bad as that.

Oh, my pure is now finally in use.  Clear switches and texture coating on an aluminum case.  It's kinda nice.

There's only two.  Most of it is top row with the bottom row being bottom row profile.  It's not too bad actually.

My ducky had a few different profiles, dodnt bother me much. But I decided to remove the vomit and clean it up.

I kinda want a board that is just meant for the caps that don't fit on the other boards, it bugs me to have spare caps that I'm not using for some reason.

interesting, nice catch.  I was able to make it look a little bit better but the problem seems to be a poorly mounted switch that wasn't seated all the way when it was soldered.  Maybe someday I'll open it up and see; that is my mx red board and it is in dire need of lube and stickers!

IIRC Dan, the key blockers come directly from Topre. We used to have a thread on how to install them, pre-w0rm.

Yup it's the housing from a 89U... Now I have a uniform 85UB hahah :D

yea double tab key for now :(   The orange caps are from an ISO layout board, so no 1.5x sized |\ key. this seemed to be the best way to combine them. that is until I get my ISO layout 1800 here in a couple weeks :)

Remind me in a few months after everyone gets the GMK purple mods and i'll that that combination

got some new cherry DS's for my keyboard, which is almost ALMOST finished! Just waiting on a cream&cheese spacebar which hopefuly will match better than this white one, a proper complete number-pad and a moogle kit! ....F & J scoooops!

Why not just epoxy stem in center of Cherry 6.25 space? Then you get the correct color for sure and also the right profile.
