I put my Poker back together today. De-lubed the sliders in these switches (blue with clear springs), lubed the springs, added my purple stickers, layed down a green vinyl plate cover/shim (Vortex plate 0.056", shimmed to 0.060" for better fit), gold-on-black PBT Poker caps.

This thing is so cool to type on now!!

They actually have a nice texture to them. They aren't completely smooth like the stock filco caps. I really like them - you can definitely feel the difference.

Yes, exactly. I have the blue ones and they have a nice texture -- my fingers don't feel like they're slipping all over the place.

Helps with the spring collapsing over the center post, and dampens spring harmonics.

that DAS looks slick, way better than the glossy one
it looks like a cherry G80-3000 but the Das Keyboard font white on black is making it special imo
It's really nice with the blue PBT Hangul/brobot

Unfortunately, all the caps were gone by the time I found out. All I got is a shell without internals. Which is fine. And which is why I plan to drop the Das in it.

I have an extra white/grey Cherry USB cable, but check the pin pitch on your PCB connector. Cherry have use several connector size on various PCB revision so you need to watch it.

When I was converting Dolch boards to USB, I documented the wires, and that controller looks very similar:

So where you see 'original' is the legends for the original wire colors, and labeled in the last photo.

The other black was for something that wasn't needed with orihalcons cables.
