Yeah, I was going to mention that, as well. I have a funny feeling those are actually ABS. You could always do the acetone test to find out (on the underside of the keycap!).

Edit: how thick are they in comparison with those Cherry I sent you? Can you post a pic?

My black PBTs aren't thick but no light gets through.

I was also in disbelief when I saw alixinhzai post the same caps lit up underneath, but they are indeed cherry thick PBT.
I don't think anything would pass through black, thick or thin, due to how light (physics) work

They're the same caps Feng is selling in WASD and Arrow Clusters, but blank. I got them from China (KBC G80-3000 the original cherry cherry high keyboard 37 keys key caps)

A set of caps that will glow like that with the leds on.

I'm not ready for blank yet though...

You may be able to ask Imsto to legend them with something else, but as far as I know these only come in WASD & Arrow Clusters like mentioned above and this set (Also from Imsto).

I was thinking of ordering the Ducky white on white engraved PBT set from mechanicalkeyboards.com and just hoping white LED on max setting will make them glow.

Yes that will work, probably even more so being that they're thin PBT.

yeah forsure. i find it more noticeable on the green caps than the white ones. Oh well, doesnt bother me much:P

Did SP change their molds then? Because every single 1x I have has a spru mark on the front. The 1.25 modifiers have them on the left side.

I know the spru marks are unavoidable. On my vortex keycaps the mark is near the top but its on the back so you never see it. The SP smiley face and LoD caps I have it'd on the bottom but its the front face of the cap.

Their 1x caps are typically in the front. I am looking at the caps lock, and it is on the left side.

I've been using only SP PBTs lately and they have the spru on the back, and the ABS have it on the bottom front but essentially not visible/noticeable during most uses which is why I thought it was on the back like the PBTs.

Well at least there PBT's have it done right. Personally I really notice those marks on the front of the SP ABS.

How do you even see that? You have to be at a pretty extreme angle straight above the keyboard to see them.

depending how tall/short the front of the case is determines how much you can see those front spru marks. Cherry cases for example are short and you can the spru marks pretty easily on the 1x keys. The 1800's even more so as they are shorter cases than 3000's. That is the main reason I only use cherry keys on an 186x board as I cannot stand the entire bottom row showing off spru marks.

kawa told me to use it until I break it. If I'm going to break the board....it will be playing counterstrike

I wish there was Thick PBT that was the same color as your clack, even blanks. I don't think I'd ever buy keycaps again if something like that was available.

Ahahaha, but I only own one keyboard (kinda two) and I have almost everything that I want. All I need now are some incredibly dark gray thick mod caps, but nothing like that currently exists.
TBH, I'd probably consider Cherry ABS, but it seems like an impossibility even with moogling it up.

Edit - I'll just have to be content with very dark gray mods from Keyboard King (thinner and higher lol) until the they exist.
