It may not be anything special to some of you super-modders, but to me it represents the culmination of months of saving, working, and waiting. Filco TKL, ergo-clears, panda space, lubed and stickered, with a vortex aluminum case. I finally got around to putting keys on her and snapping a few pics. My fingers, they are in heaven  ;D

I think this is awesome, and a very nice keyboard, especially if it is what you want and you like it!!

Looks fantastic, turtle!

Love the Portal turret too :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

That's a very clean build, Turtle!  I really admire the consistent color scheme; case, keys, even the choice of stickers adds a nice touch to a "Cherry-red" board!

I really like themed boards like yours. You know what you want it to look like and it really shows through the color scheme (and that red clack tops it off nicely). Beautiful.

Well, it's Ducky nordic that sells the boards to Swedish/Finnish resellers. But if you google for teraset I think you might find the official Ducky Nordic site. Teraset is the company that owns Ducky nordic division.

Loving those Artisan Skulls :)

I think I'll leave it like that for now. Rate/hate?

Nice, and here I thought I was the only one mixing profiles and using typewriter keycaps:

25106-0

Here's a potato of my daily driver WASD v1, with vintage PBT dye-subs from a TA Royal Alpha typewriter for the alphas (these are slightly lower in profile than cherry/GMK doubleshots), Dolch doubleshot scoops for F+J (because the typewriter F+J keys have no nub or anything), and then Filco Ninja keycaps w/ o-rings for mostly everything else (other than the SP e-sports caps I'm using on the numpad).  Secret pleasure.

Do the typewriter caps have a green font? Im currently keeping an eye out for those (just for the sake of having them), I can find a lot of blue font keys but green font seems to be rare for Germany. Do you know what typewriter model you found them on?
My typewriter caps are lower than the normal caps as well but I dont mind that at all. I actually think it gives it a nice touch with your front printed keys.

Yep, they are green dye-subs, pulled from a TA Royal Alpha 110.  See this thread for more info (be sure to scroll down for more pics, too): http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=36189.msg875834#msg875834

Given the layout (QWERTY w/ a few Spanish keys), I suspect this model was not sold in Germany.  It is quite rare in the US (also, it's the source of the B profile white on lime green "CODE" key).

I have the feeling that the Triumph Adler stopped selling Royal typewriters in Germany in a certain year (maybe the year they bought them already? not sure), cause I cannot find any "modern" Royal typewriters here, just Triumph Adler which always have the blue-grey color scheme.

That seems pretty reasonable.  The two companies merged (they were actually both bought out by Olivetti in 1986).  I assume the new management decided to rebrand products for each market depending on which brand was strongest in the region pre-merger.

Added some media keys.  Might be a bit too bright.

Nice contrast :)

All the diodes and smd resistors onto my A.87 LED86 and some LED indicators onto my A.87 v2 in my LZ-S.

Waiting on switch stickers + LEDs before finishing up the build.
