So many regrets with not getting that raindrop set. Argh! I shouldn't have went with a Red Alert theme >_< These look so great.

Wondering how the Tolkien set will look. I might have to get that one.

I added o-rings to my mx browns, the "Red 40A-L (0.2mm Reduction)" ones.
...I kind of hate it.

I'm going to try them for a week to see if I get used to it but I doubt I will. Only the spacebar feels better.  :(

I use the same ones on browns. My initial reaction was the same, but in time I started to like them. Now, I prefer to have them on.

Make sure to give each key a few good pushes before typing to make sure all the o-rings are in the proper place. If not, it will feel very odd. To me, the feel of the mechanical switch remains the same. It is just the feeling when bottoming out that changes. It is a little softer, and you bottom out faster. The former I am not so sure about whether I like it. The latter I have come to appreciate.

Keep in mind that with the muscle memory you built up with they keyboard, any change will probably feel worse at first.

An MX Mini I got from leesofi awhile back. Has a weird key mixture of clears across the top until F12, and the control and alt keys with the rest MX Blacks. I will probably take it apart and replace the clears with blacks, and lube/sticker everything. The coolest thing about it is the Escape key has an LED that changes colors slowly. I never even knew that was possible on keyboards until it came in the mail and I plugged it in for the first time.

The KeyPop cloud suits that perfectly.

That picture also more accurately represents the lighter blue of the set.  A lot of pictures make it look a lot darker than it is.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

True.

Well I don't have to handle my cat's poop and she cleans her own genitals as well. That's cats 2 - dogs 0

I know dogs 'clean' themselves as well down there, but I'm convinced it's strictly for pleasure and not for sanitary reasons.

I've had some really awesome cats.  And some pretty cool dogs.  But I prefer cats because they are so much less work to take care of - they don't need walks, they don't need to go outside to go to the bathroom, they aren't as loud - really, they pretty much take care of themselves (unless they are massively overweight diabetic cats that need insulin shots twice daily and require special food that costs nearly as much as my personal monthly food budget - yeah, those cats can go screw themselves).

Oh, right, the media part.  Uh, here's a decent shot of my keyboard?  Mixed profiles ftw.

And my cat:

the loyalty of a dog > anything and everything a cat will do, can do, and claims to do.

when you can claim your cat gets excited to see you even though you've only left them for 5 minutes, then we can talk.

till then, continue to be a cat servant.

Ever heard of anyone being savaged and/or killed by a dog?  Yes?

How about being savaged and/or killed by a cat (a domestic cat)?  No?

How about being savaged and/or killed by a cat (a domestic cat)?  No?

please, rub a cat's belly more than 3 times and we'll see about savaging.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

dogs > cats

True.

Well I don't have to handle my cat's poop and she cleans her own genitals as well. That's cats 2 - dogs 0

I know dogs 'clean' themselves as well down there, but I'm convinced it's strictly for pleasure and not for sanitary reasons.

I'd rather have a loyal friend, than being a servant to a lazy cat.

Ever heard of anyone being savaged and/or killed by a dog?  Yes?

The cat would just scratch you until you stop.

A dog would savage you until you were dead.

I added a yellow Esc to my HHKB :)

My cat actually likes this. She also likes being thrown and smacked on her side. Probably a masochist.

People always get into cat vs dog fights...  It's like debating sports teams ...except with live creatures.

If you've any keyboards left you should be getting something to add to them in a few days.
