Is it possible to buy those blockers in black? When u say took them from  an access keyboard, he cut them out?

He suspects that SP makes them but so far nobody has been able to confirm.  They are in black and white.

They require a switch to be in place to lock so the stem needs to be taken out or they are permanently activated.

Could also do this with Pimp My Keyboard  flat keys.  With windows 8 where the Windows key is used quite a bit this does the job while kinda looking like a winkeyless.

What's the point of getting the classic dolch colors and then using a bunch of rgb and red caps? Lol

Also my dolch set isn't from originative so it came with a short right shift. I'd prefer not to use an SP moogle or have the green Cherry right shift by itself.

I'm not sure if they were the original red cherry escape key, but they are probably the source of the now "vintage" ones floating about.

Any kind of keyboard! Could be a KMAC, could be a filco, could be anything. Just vote for whatever board/keycaps you like the look of most/find the most original etc.

It's going to remain brushed steel--I really like that.  This keyboard has sort of a metal-steampunk theme a little.  Dark copper case, gold Filco logo and switch stickers, amber LEDs, a homebrewed braided brown-black cord, and eventually R2 Dye Sub PBT in Orange / Charcoal (Ural).

Favoritism plays a part if someone says that they are going to give away something and are then running it. if we do it just based on community voting, then it might a little less influeneced

but hey, a keyboard of the month thread regardless would be cool

Although TBH I'm not too overawed with the result.  The yellow looks nicer than that in real life, but the contrast between the legends is kinda meh.  I might take the mods into work and see how they look on the otherwise all-white KeyCool.
