Price
Price are still undetermined, but aiming at a €100 upper limit. A more definitive price should be possible as we proceed with the IC and gather more information on quantity.
Initial Prototype

[attach=11][attach=12]
What's changed since the prototype?
Modified the overall design a little bit:
- Tightened the case slot, more aligned with the keycaps
- Centered the USB port
- Rounded the outer corners for a more pleasant look
- The overall "extrusion" of the case
What's next?
- Finish refinement of the design
- Consider review units to send out
- Consider possibilities of included keycaps
- Consider molded feet, rather than diecut
- Consider plate standoffs for easy reassembly, or an alternative
- Consider other case materials, such as brass, stainless steel, PC, etc.
- Consider final colors, and ano vs e-coating

Thank you guys so much!

I love the design, but the texture of the rubber feet looks strange in the render.
Good Luck!

Thank you so much! Don't mind the textures too much in the renders, materials are hard. Expect them to be black rubber, or possibly silicone :D

Love it.
You planning on running it through a vendor??
Would look awesome if you made your logo on the back as a weight instead
But like it as is too.
Would suggest if no changes that you try to keep the price within the 70-90$ range if possible.
Good luck though and will be following updates of the project :)

Thank you! I'm still consider whether to run it myself or get in touch with vendors, or a mix, but do have a few vendors in mind that I would like to get in touch with if that was the case.
The back as a weight would definitely look cool, but I fear that would add unnecessary cost to the point where it wouldn't be worth it. Additionally, price is still TBD exactly, but aiming for the best price I can get :D

It might be neat to have a special small run Founders Edition with a weight that costs more. Would also give you the opportunity to figure out those logistics for future products too.

Definitely an interesting idea, this is noted! :D
