You know what? I don't think there is anything wrong with anything they're doing. These are like collector's items. When people sell action figures or such that will be collectibles, they sell them for the price they choose. On the secondary market, they go up in price. That's what happens. They don't figure out how to make sure everyone can get one. They make a number of them and sell them. So why are we all arguing about how they can do this better, or be more fair to everyone?
You know what's fair? Creating a second run. I really want a Candycorn. Before this, I knew I would have to search for one. Now, they've given me a chance to get one for a better price. And even if I can't get one, there are now more in the market, thus a higher chance I can get one later. That's more than fair, isn't it? He could've just as well not done that.
So maybe we should just all stop complaining. There is no Clack socialism. You either get one or you don't. We don't all get to own everything. This is about supply and demand. The supply is what it is, and you obviously have a demand for them. The problem is not one of those things, but that you're not willing to follow the law and pay the price for them.
