1. Auction is hosted on eBay, so buyer and seller are protected. Hopefully no shill bidding would happen, and winning bid always = (next highest bid) + (bid increment).
2. Bidding is open, but confidential.
3. Auction starting prices were reasonable. Market will work out what the sell prices end up being.
4. Open to public bidding, not limited to a certain community's members.
5. His property to do with as he wishes.

You have to admit, when people put artistans up on eBay trying to sell it for over retail people get hyper-sensitive about it. Yet that has not occurred here. I assume because people don't feel as comfortable speaking out against Punks as they would someone on Reddit, or someone with very few posts doing it. Or maybe they don't see an issue with it because they "know" Punks, as opposed to someone else.
