I would like to all of you please know that I have learn many lesson, I will be telling again my love of simpsons.
I have spoke to law man and he has state that I should not use simpsons name on product as that is copy.
Instead I will be paying homeg to my two favorite character in the name, it will now be Nuclear Burger, Nuclear for the Mr Burns who owns the Nuclear Plant, and Burger for Krystu who owns the Burgers.
The buy will be bought from GMK as GMK has high quality caps, It will be in DSA profile as DSA is a good profile, I have touched my friends DSA, it is good.

Hi All

I've been around the Mechanical Keyboard community for some time, and wanted to put my foot in the door, with so many interest checks and group buys by first time runners coming around recently I was inspired to start my own, meet GMK Simpsons, I've been a long time fan of Simpsons and it's been a huge influence on my life, as I was born in the same year that simpsons started, this set pays homage to two of my favorite Simpsons characters, Mr Burns and Krustin the Clown, the yellow is the same skin colour as mr burns while the blue is the same blue as Krustin The clown.

I picked GMK to be the manufacturer as they have a reputation for producingthe highest quality keycaps, and the profile as DSA because DSA has always been a profile that interested me and I've been wanting to try it out.

At the moment I'm still trying to decide what addition sets I should be including, this is just the base, and if it should be done in PBT.

I'm also trying to learn how to render keycaps, unfortunately there were a couple of issues, one of the keys went blue and I can't change it back and one is black and blue and I can't figure out why, for now just imagine that the keys are the same as the keys around them and that is what it's supposed to look like.

If any vendors are interested in running this please PM me, otherwise I'll do it as a closed run through paypal.

I remember when the Simpsons first aired in 1989, not everyone had a television like they do nowadays. All I'll say is that waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day, and in an entirely different context, proposals went through a certain moderator first, who didn't approve them for publication until they met a checklist of stuff that needed to be present. This was independent of the proposal's content itself (or the moderator's personal opinion about it, for that matter); it was specifically to avoid wasting time with half-baked ideas.

Well, you have been told wrong, unfortunately. From what I can see, none of your renders so far have used DSA profile. I mean this in the best possible way, but do you actually know what DSA profile is and looks like? And who manufactures it?

If I may give you some advice: pause this IC, go get some help in putting a keycap set design together from people with experience, and then come back with a finished, correct proposal. This thread is going to derail sooner rather than later otherwise.

I for one would like to see:

Disco Stu novelties
Apu Alphas
Krusty Mods
Nuclear Mods
Donut Numpad (like GMK Dots, but all Donuts)

It bothers me a bit how well written the initial post is, and how poorly written every subsequent comment and edit is (as well as literally every single thing he writes is wrong somehow). Meantime I have consulted with good friends to create a kit that will allow all to use, this should cover most basic layouts.

Please consider this the base and only set for now, I have decided roll all into one to make easier

The people in charge of GMK Blink should really be asking you for some advice, because you seem to be really switched on and on-top of everything. You have legal concerns mentioned and discussed in the IC, BEFORE it becomes a Group Buy. It really shows where your heart is, you're not after a quick cash-grab, rushing to GB and boasting about going to "Smash MOQ," no you're man who is passionate, actually cares about the community and wants to deliver a group product.
