The title is clear. Is there any real difference? I know there is a slight pitch difference but asides from that is there anything that stands out between the two? Is the bottom out heavier on the whites? If you have used either of the switches your input would be very much appreacited. Thank you

Are you really, really, really sure you don’t want to just get a switch tester at this point?
Five of eight of your topics posted since you joined are Swtich A vs Switch B, and a switch tester would solve all your issues. Even if you don’t have the budget to get one AND get switches, you can always buy it, use it to make your decision, then sell it on.

Sure, sure - but this particularly user has posted five threads asking Switch A vs Switch B questions, at this point a switch tester should help narrow it down more than we can.

Well a switch tester comes with switches, that’s kind of the point, hehe.

This is textbook paralysis by analysis. You've got a list of over 20 switches. From weights of reds to blacks, linear, clickies, maybe a tactile or two. It's totally all over the place.
Just choose the ones that look good on paper, order a ten pack of each, and go to town on your hotswap keyboard. I mean, that's the whole point of buying a hotswap keyboard anyway. It's so you can try switches that you actually buy and own.
If money is tight, buy less variety. You'll be typing for years, you don't need the perfect answer first shot, your tastes are likely to change over time, new and exciting switches will come out a year or two or five from now.
With some experience you can then triangulate on others' impressions meaningfully. If you have enough experience, you'll be able to use force/distance graphs. But you need to just get out and try stuff, with your own fingers.

I've read similar many times, but I've been able to use testers or a couple of samples to get a good idea of whether I'd like a switch or not. I can quickly reject switches (Aliaz with its wobbly start before the bump, overly tactile box royals, most Hakos). It might be a bit harder to identify what I like, but as a screening tool, it's been useful so far.

I'm using Whites in one of my keyboards. I ordered a few Glazed Greens, just to try them out, and couldn't tell the difference.

Thanks Avi. I guess they legit made the same switch but at least I heard that the Glazed Greens doesn't have that keycap problem anymore or at least not as much as the whites. I guess I will get the Glazed Greens just so they don't break my keycaps.

As far as I'm aware, any issues with Box switches damaging keycaps have been resolved.

From specs, they both have the same actuation force but different bottom out forces. Glazed Green is lighter. But the difference is just 10gf which is IMO very small. So, let me guess. The design intention was to reduce fatigue while not to induce any noticeable difference. Glazed Green is probably suitable for those whose job is typing all day continuously.

They are special Chinese color edition of Box switch.
Same tactility as Box white.
