The best looking set on a white keyboard, but I have a couple of suggestions:

- Can we get a wadset for the brass mod? Looks more uniformed.
- The bronze enter key in brass mod seems repetitive?

Treeleaf not approved. The price is too high for the kitting. And the kitting isn't even good.
What do you mean $120 for "still supporting as many standard layouts as possible"?????

Why does it cost $200 for Base / UK ISO / Numpad?

Normally it would be 135 for all of these features in the same base kit.......

$120 for that base kit...

All kitting and prices are based on preliminary quotes and are subject to change pending feedback from the community. I understand that it's frustrating for people who use non-ansi layouts, but I want to give it a few more days and see what the general consensus is on the current kitting. We're currently teetering between 500MOQ and 1000MOQ, with the base kit price of $120 being based on the 500MOQ. If enough interest is garnered, we could see that go up to 1000 MOQ and consequentially see a large price drop. I'm more than happy to answer any questions about the decisions behind my current kitting and also perfectly open to change my mind about it if enough people make good enough arguments :)

I feel like the trade off for a tiny decrease in cost vs the amount of compatibility lost in the base kit is not worth it.

GMK Thai Tea was priced with a 250 MOQ and the larger base kit is at $135.
That's a $15 difference with a bigger base kit, more colors, and a smaller MOQ.

Meanwhile, with this kitting, we are looking at $120 for tkl support, then $40 for numpad, and $40 for ISO for a total of $200.

Why do you think this is the better way to kit the set?

This kitting makes a lot more sense if we can garner enough interest for a 1000 moq and consequently see lower prices than currently listed, which I'm still uncertain on. If my vendors and I feel that a 1000 MOQ is reasonable, then this (or a close variation) of this kitting will likely be what gets produced. If that isn't the case, then the kitting will revert back to something far more standard, with ISO and numpad support in the base kit. Rest assured that I am closely monitoring feedback and this kitting/pricing is far from final.

That sounds like a good plan. 1000 MOQ gets 100$ numpadless base kits (or 95$ like GMK Honor) and even numpad users like me don’t mind much then.

Really like this set. It’s a good alternative WS1 set.
I must say I’m quite surprised that it costs $120 at 500 MOQ. Was expecting it to be cheaper.
Happy to drop the numpad but I think novelties and alt mods may be fairly critical. Also not enough brass 1u specialties for the last column for a 65% board :)

Aced the design of the kit ! It's my first GMK IC and I'm not really phased by the price.
The only (minor) gripe I have is about the noveltiies: plenty of 1u is fine but I'd be looking forward to replacing the 7 x1.25u of r4 of well as the shifts/backspace/enter; well.... modifiers.
Looking forward for a brass esc key too!

Treeleaf I definitely agree that I have some concerns with the current pricing. As I referenced in another comment, I only intend to keep this kitting if I believe that we can run the set at a higher moq and thus a lower price, otherwise it is likely that I will rework the kitting to be less narrow. I appreciate the feedback, and believe me when I say that I want to offer the best deal to as many customers as I can.

The size of the base kit has been reduced drastically to provide the lowest possible price while still supporting as many standard layouts as possible
So TKL kits are becoming the new base kits? To be honest I'm disappointed, I really liked this set as a nice, classy alternative to the super clean BOW. For me it had a similar vibe as GMK Noir has for WOB, but with that kitting decision I find it hard to justify a buy  :(

Very sad to see the size of the base kit get sized down to TKL only. Having to pay $160 for a full base kit seems to be going to opposite direction of the new norm for pricing. This is one of my favorite sets to be IC'ed in a while and would love to support but $200 seems a bit steep for full base kit plus novelties.

I have to agree with others though that the kitting vs price decisions made here makes little sense.

120 for a TKL base is a shame, truly.

Hey, just wanted to clarify what happened here with the kitting. This is my first time designing a set, and as such I have little experience with how kit size / moq / and other variables specifically affect pricing. I had gone to this kitting in hopes that I could offer a cheaper base kit for most users, but after receiving feedback I've realized that the drastic increase in cost for ISO/Numpad users isn't worth the slight decrease in base kit cost. It's really important to me that the community understands that these kitting decisions weren't made out of greed and instead were made out of ignorance. The kitting will revert back to a more standard one with numpad and iso support in base kit.

I wish I could support all layouts, but unfortunately with GMK prices/kitting/MOQs it just isn't viable. Based on other sets that have run in the past, Norde/EU kits tend to only sell about 3-5% of base kit sales, meaning I would have to sell 2000-3000 base kits just to meet a 100 MOQ. As amazing as it would be if we could make those numbers happen, it just isn't viable based on IC response.
