Alps PCB and Plate choices

Got confirmation from XD64's tabao that they are doing internal testing on Alps plate with arrow key layout support, expected to hit the market within the coming month, I am so hyped right now

Yeeeeaah, they told me the plate would be ready this month, and so far still nothing.
But, at any rate, one can always cut their own plate anyway. The hard part (the PCB) is already there.

A few new stuffs from South Paw, though I don't think it'd be easy to gather all the required Alps keycaps for these:

- Zeta: A 48 key ergonomic ortho.

- HalfPi: A traditional 4x12 ortho.

XD87 and XD 96 also support Alps. Kprepublic is a go to for Alps support for me. Even their Daisy 40% and macro pads support Alps.

What do you do about the plate on the XD87? The MX plate that they show looks to have some kind of lip on the top and bottom edges - this would be hard to get made by a service like laserboost

The XD87 doesn't support DCS ISO enter either

You would have to have your own case cut out of stacked acrylic, etc. The plastic case for the XD87 is pretty hollow feeling anyway so it is better find other solutions.

I've long thought about a group buy for a decent XD87 compatible case, as it is one of the most affordable TKL PCBs available and has a hot swap version to boot.
