I`m getting into some new (but sounds old) ....is it retro funk/boogie dance at the moment?

It`s called Funktionality - Deep Funky Jazz Beats but it`s joined together so I haven`t a clue who`s who - which is great! I`m on the second installment of the series now but I can`t stop playing the first one....even downstairs on my toy 3.1 stereo with the red lapdog plugged into it....it makes me wanna have a boogie around the living room.

Infectious dancy bass that`s not too fast or repetitive and foot-tapping rhythms....just what the funk doc ordered! I have it on Saturday tea-time to warm me up for a really old skool weekender (ie: proper early/mid 70`s funk) I usually go out about 11:30PM and I`m still dancing and drinking at 10AM....which is not bad for my age!

Oh this is my first post in any forum on a Zorin Linux lapdog so please excuse any mess-ups!

To follow my last muzak post....there is a band called Joey Negro and the Sunburst band that`s being going ages....are very very good and Jamiroquai`s or Level 42`s session guys and they are dynamite.

The bass in this one is unreal....somebody must have held a gun to this guitarists` head! LOL.It`s like Jaco Pastorius reborn.

The bass guitarists I love use it for a lead instrument....not just a solo...ALA Joy Division or New Order....which I`ve seen Hookey live `cos they`re my hometown band.
