That's something that you have to deal with at concerts? That blows. The crowd was pretty into it but there were definitely some people just there to take pictures and be there because someone told them it was cool/underground/edgy. I guess that happens at the shows I typically go to as well but they're usually high schoolers who stand in the back. Not older people.
at atmosphere's show, yeah. slug has a huge female following, specifically teenage hipster emo chicks. or at least at the time i saw him, he did. hell, i got called out by some tween for not being "punk enough" at his damn show.
but when i saw him again at paid dues it was much better. still teenagers everywhere but there was more room to avoid them.
im glad you enjoyed murs tho, dude is cool. if you ever get the chance check him out with slug as felt. both of their albums are solid as hell. especially tribute to christina ricci.
this has been on repeat since i got it. first time i've heard of the guy and im a fan now.
