I really like RX Bandits, I randomly stumbled upon them in middle/high school because my friend searched for my neighbor's name online (Steve Choi) and found their purevolume page haha. At some point their trombone and sax guys left though and they transitioned more to prog rock.

I've heard of the mighty mighty bosstones, but I don't think I ever really listened to them. I might be able to recognize their really popular songs, but that's about it

That's pretty funny and their old stuff is really solid. Not a fan of the prog rock stuff though.

They have one or two really popular songs but a lot of solid stuff IMO.
