Hi, has anyone actually did a DIY computer desk?  I mean like out of MDF wood/custom made..

Yeah, Builder's desk Build... found it, here.

More of a workbench than desk imho.

I seem to recall some other thread where someone built a more "typical" MDF desk. I might be thinking of a different forum, though.

I made a desk and dresser out of MDF when i was in university.  It was a little on the small side, but it held up for quite a while.  The desk was very similar to the Ikea Galant corner desk, but with a shelf and riser, and the feet/legs were also made of MDF.
