impossible to tell exactly when given how gmk is these days, but tentatively some time around then.

Hi all, a couple of updates today.

Firstly, our first round of colour samples has shipped to Upas. No ETA as of now for pictures / other data, however I'll relay updates here when they come.

Secondly, we have received production renders from GMK. Please bear in mind that these are not colour-accurate, and just a representation of the keycaps in the kits. You can rest assured that everything is as intended

Hey everyone - finally got both GMK and deskmat samples on hand. I am very happy with both, and I hope you all will be too!

Upas and I had feared going into colour matching that the GMK sample would turn out too light compared to renders (as the Pantone swatches we had didn't seem to match perfectly). This sample turned out visibly a touch darker than the Pantone and we both feel like this colour is far better in comparison to the renders - after all, this is what the set was sold on. This has been locked in and we are just awaiting production now

Good work on getting the colour matching done so efficiently. i agree with noorejji, it's quite vibrant but I like it. I'm assuming it'll come down to how well light the room is

The sample looks brighter than expected. It looks like GMK Calm Depths alpha dark blue imo. kind of disappointed. Would seriously prefer the darker deeper blue in the renders.

I would say it's a touch darker than Calm Depths alphas, but from this I would say I agree that the navy is lighter than what i would expect with the name "Deep Navy". Can only wait to see it in person

Expected the sample to be a fair bit darker than that, but I'll reserve judgement until I have the set in my hands. I think it will look great on dark grey boards though!

Take note of the bright lighting. You can see that V4, a stock GMK color, looks like sky blue - which it's not. The color won't look that bright on your desk - most of the day.
