New Mac mini

Well, Apple finally updated the mini last month.  It is now, IMHO, again the best bang-for-your-buck Mac available.

Five USB ports, firewire, mini-DVI AND mini-displayports, up to 4GB of ram, bluetooth and 802.11n wireless, and the updated onboard nVidia graphics (same as available on the new Macbooks).

Dual displays now available (up to 1920x1200 via the mini-DVI connector and up to 2560x1600 with the mini-displayport and a dual-link DVI adapter).  

I purchased one and have it currently hooked up to my HDTV in my home office.  Bought the low-end one (2.0Ghz C2D, 1GB ram, 120GB hdd) and upgraded it to 4GB ram and a 500GB hdd.  Kids love playing WoW on the big screen and I am enjoying playing around with Plex.  

Currently using the Apple wireless (BT) keyboard and a wireless Logitech Trackman Wheel.  Keyboard feels just like the macbook keyboard (which I don't have a huge problem with).  I'd MUCH rather have a blue Cherry-equipped tenkeyless, bluetooth Filco though.

It features Inte Core 2 Duo and Nvidia 9400 yet according to Apple it consumes less than 13 Watts. Not even possible in standby

But very nice specs for such a small case.

Sure it's possible in standby, and that's an idle rating.

I'm pulling 23.5 W on my ThinkPad (and a lot of that is the LCD backlight) at 50% CPU load. It's got Intel integrated graphics, but...

I just read something that said the 9400 uses 3W in idle.  13W is pretty unbelievable, I mean that's like 3-4 nightlight bulbs lol

13W in idle? No, not at all unbelievable.

The CPU is likely a laptop part, for starters.

From the way Victheslik describes the diNovo, sounds like you need a Filco with bluetooth...
