Partially correct. I would like a new condition OG Dolch set. Preferrably the Ivan version. An OG Dolch set on a DolchPAC probably would not cut it because of the age they often have a yellowish/brown hue to them. Particularly the alphas. At least that is my experience with many of the PACs I've seen for sale. I would prefer something as grey/white as possible. As for Sky Dolch, I like it, but it's a little too much of the cyan. I prefer the white legends accented with the white on cyan mods, which I have already waiting. I would use the Sky Dolch set if I absolutely could not acquire an OG Dolch set, but prefer to try and hunt one down. Stupidly I actually had one secured and let it go because I had not acquired the PAC yet, in hindsight I should have just bought the damn set.

As far as I'm aware, Ivan's GMK Dolch sets do not have the keys to properly cover a 1800 board (missing R1 Delete, End and Pg Dn), if you want to have proper keys in the correct profile to completely cover a Dolch Pac (1800 layout), you will need to salvage them from an OG Dolch Pac.

As far as I'm aware, Ivan's GMK Dolch sets do not have the keys to properly cover a 1800 board (missing R1 Delete, End and Pg Dn), if you want to have proper keys in the correct profile to completely cover a Dolch Pac (1800 layout), you will need to salvage them from an OG Dolch Pac.

Will they fit a DolchPAC case? That's actually a good idea. I can build it with Aristaterons instead of Cherry blues, too. Dammit now I need to buy a Leeku PCB and plate!

However, PCB aside, which you can get from Leeku with everything soldered sans the switch, the plate was not from him. He also has to source the plate from another and he said the source for plate is not available for sometimes now. I did have the idea to pimp the Dolch Pac but could not locate the plate, so I kinda gave it up

I think he still does, it's gonna be $45 + $25 US Shipping, another $10 if you want the RGB underglow, but the underglow will make it unfit in the Dolch PAC case

Any desoldering vacuum pump system will suffice so long as it is in good working condition and not a cheap knock off. I have a budget though so a high end Weller/HAKKO/Pace system will probably be too much even used.

I still prefer the 808, however.
