sleepy - little updates
« on: Mon, 16 July 2018, 11:44:58 »
Hi everyone!! You may have seen me around Geekhack but today I'm here to show you some stuff I've been working on!!  ;)

My girlfriend and I have been making some Topre escape/fn/wasd sets! The molds are a bit tough to get perfect but we're working towards it slowly I think! Here's a sneak peek of our iridescent soapy esc/fn set. The set may glow slightly pink in the dark. ;) Sorry about the potato pic!!

The plan now is to find a $ynth and make some MX caps too! :thumb: Hope you are all having a wonderful Monday.

Ooh you made a thread! Are you going to make more molds for topre or are you focusing on technique right now?

Hey Ben! :) Making lots of Topre molds right now!! The stems fit nicely but they look a bit wonky right now on the bottom, and sometimes the air bubbles makes them not look too nice (I'm hoping to buy a pressure pot soon).

hi everyone!! I figured i'm a bit overdue for an update. Things are coming together very slowly! I've started up making my own sculpt, got a pressure pot (which i'm still setting up  :p i'm not very strong at tightening attachments and whatnot), and opened a little online store for selling stickers that my girlfriend and i designed!

i've been having difficulty with finding energy to do artistic things, but i really want to finish this sculpt and get a cast done in the pressure pot.  i don't know if anything will come of my endeavors, but i'll keep trying!

anyhow, i know this isn't entirely related to keycaps, but if you want to see our store it's over here at https://www.sleepystore.net/. PS: I have some leftover KYC charity stickers from BunnyLake's black friday event; if you'd like one, feel free to PM me and I can send one your way!

the more I check your sculpt out, I see that nose and think of this gif (more specifically that ending "boop"). It's just that nose you see and go "boop".
