This is my layout, the blanks are for Cmd+Right-Fn spots

I press the 1.25 + 6.25 + 1.25 with my thumbs, since GMK/Cherry keycaps are a bit piercing/rough, I sand these 3 keycaps on the corners

So blanks are both "flexible modifiers" - and they are also sandable, without any risk

Ideally I would want 1.25 Cmd + Meta keycaps, but that's asking too much, I don't think some minor sanding can reach the double-shot part either, so the "sanding" is just what I do and not directly related with the keycaps being blank

While initially blanks were just an escape from the "Win" keycaps, now it's an addiction

Edit: And also, blanks were really useful when I used 1.25 keycaps as arrows too, when blanks are a separate add-on, I tend to buy a lot, I probably bought all the extra Cyan 1.25 Blanks from GMK Cyan :)

I don't mind this being a long wait until Feb, I'm being super picky on my kb spending now
and lets me allocate funds to it.

It'll just mature like a fine wine 

This, along with Miami Dolch, are end game colour combos and will replace Hyperfuse
for my day to day use I think.

Instead of sanding, why don't you simply reverse the keycaps? I reverse every GMK spacebars I intend to use without palmrest.

Because I like the profile, I just don't enjoy the piercing edges - +the injection points show up when you reverse :)

No novelties, I'm not a big fan of them and I think they look tacky most of the time, so I decided to forgo them for Plum. Maybe on my next keyset, I'll properly design some.
The colours of the alphas and mods are a secret Since they're custom, they don't even have GMK colours. The red accent keys will be RO1.

Plum GB is going to open on feb 2017, it wont ship til 3-4months after the drop.

Also added a 1.25u Fn key and that's a wrap. That's literally 100% of the keys that will be in this set.
