Thank you so much, Revo! Will we be able to buy more than 1 Polycarbonate plate/aluminum plate? Or is it only 1 per kit? (:

Edit: I think I misunderstood that, so we will automatically get 1 of each plate in the kit? If so that's amazing!

Ah okay, that's understandable. Is there at least a chance of getting 1 aluminum and 1 poly per kit? As an optional charge? (:

If not I understand. I can see how multiple plate orders can get a bit confusing.

Yep, ill put in one more PC plate.so it'll be two plate, one alu one PC. PC is very cheap in China,it doesn't cost much. i think nobody refuse this.

You mean In regards to Feels Kafka? =)

Not sure if I can describe it very well, but I use a gon crystal 60 with lubed gateron blacks daily which is a fully carbonate case and plate.

The fully pc setup definitely makes the board super quite and gives it very unique smooth feel compared to a hard pingy metal feel.
It doesn't feel noticeably soft but definitely a lot less harsh then steel or even aluminum.

It's hard to describe honestly as it doesn't feel plasticy at all.

Maybe search for lastpilots crystal tkl buildlog and look at his typing vid, it probably pictures sound and feel better then I could describe it XD

Softer sounds nice, steel does feel harsh with my linears/: maybe I'll pick one up. I'll look at the build log, thanks!

Could it be frosted polycarbonate like the Pink HHKB picture showed?

Also, are these colors confirmed? Pink/Gray/Silver/Black/Mystery?/, correct?

tbh with so many things going on this month, i'd prefer if the GB or at least invoicing for this ends mid-late febraury.. my wallets gonna die if this starts + ends in the next week or two ;_;

I plan to do this earlier. But my factory have been shut down before and with Chinese New Year coming up factories are closed until 12th Feb.

Personally,my holiday starts 22 Jan,and ill be back on 9th Feb,i may start invoicing in the holiday period. We can always work out some payment time or something. So don't worry about it.

Yes! Start this puppy already! I'm excited! The sooner production starts, the better!  :thumb:

Don't forget the Red aluminum and Frosted Polycarbonate combo too!  ;D

I wonder what the 5th color will be! Since red is not allowed, is blue-grey possible?

Stainless steel plate? If not will there be more rounds of this kit with stainless steel plate?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pretty sure it has universal plate support as it looks like a tray mount case. More pics and a build log for the pink revo hhkb can be found here: https://bbs.wstx.com/thread-699962-1-1.html

Worst case is you have to source a separate SS plate elsewhere, but that should be easy enough  :D

Will the plate have notches for switch swapping without desoldering?

According to the following picture from the wstx forum post linked in the quote above, no:

I've never used a hot-swappable board, but I seem to remember reading that they can feel wobbly or loose--or something along those lines.  If that's the case, I'm glad these plates won't have the notches.

Not only do I want to have my keyboard look like HHKB, I want the layout to be 100% matching to the HHKB layout..

Hard to find a keyset that would go with a gold keyboard. I'd prefer something more neutral like light blue.

since revo is using apples anode factory, rose gold would be an appropriate colour. also there isnt enough gold boards out there!
