Title: Macro pad project-Ordering plate!
Post by: DanielOh on Thu, 07 February 2019, 20:39:07
A few weeks ago, I started to make a macro pad. From scratch.

Finally, I finished my CAD things and now I ordered aluminum cutting service.
I first tried a company called E machine shop, well this company was way overpriced, it was 130 dollor for 6061 aluminum. Later on I found out a company named sendcutsend, for same deal(well it was 5052 aluminum, but it's fairly same or somewhat better) it was only 43 dollars! ( half price! ) I'll share the result!

So the only thing left is switches and keycaps, actually I already bought them but because KBDfans are on vacation( lunar new year) shipment is delayed about 10 to 15 days...

Let me know if you want my .dwg file of the plate and bottom plate.
