Plum looks nice but I'm a bit disappointed the gray won't be an option. Not sure what color I'd go for now.

Well, I think I've found my next board... I would love if there was a way to (maybe magnetically) attach the two sides and disconnect them at will. Otherwise, beautiful product.

Oh, and a standard layout would be preferable, but what can ya do. Just personally not a fan of HHKB.

Will we be able to order two different colors in one kit?

No, that would be a logistics nightmare

But it would look so damn good. E-Black / Rose Gold, let's go :p
You could always order 2 and then mix and match after the fact

You could also find another person to order with, then both split the boards for each color.

This is looking really sick.

I wanted to ask, are their approximate dimensions yet? Specifically, width?

Very interested in this, have been looking for a split board with a standard layout recently and the other features of this make it pretty appealing.

Looking forward to pricing and GB info.

I hate the length of the hhkb blockers. But I'll probably buy it anyway (and then regret it later when someone else creates a similar keyboard with smaller blockers).

Then you'll sell it on mechmarket waiting for similar keyboard only to find out it's been delayed because of _____. So now you're frantically looking to re-purchase the board you just bought for more than what you sold it for.

Thanks for the support ;)

Do you by chance have any information to share regarding the weight of the board? A 4mm brass plate seems like it would add some serious heft to it. The carbon-fiber and foam core sandwich plate seems like a good option for a portable keyboard.

Dope, clean design. Would love a good solution for keeping halves together, but am interested regardless.

I'm definitely interested in swapping a white half for a black half or vice versa. If someone wants to get down on that, hit me up. I've got a great trade history on mm.

Lower? 7 imo is the sweet spot; 5 is too low, 9 too high.

Any chance of a "regular" 1.5mm plate? CF+foam will be interesting but there's something to be said for good old fashioned aluminum.

Honestly, I think I still want it. This board might be sexy enough to make me invest in my first soldering kit.

If there’s anyone wanting to get one half white and one half rose gold, please PM me. I’m looking for the same.

If I'm not mistaken, aren't you able to find a soldering kit at some maker studios, maker spaces or some kind of gathering place for makers/hobbyists? Someone at work recently told me about them, but I haven't had a chance to look into them yet.

Either way, this board is so clean. I'm very into it as well.

You're not -- that's why the Alice layout has a B key on both sides, but in a traditional split layout the B is on the left.

I’m wondering about this as well. I don’t think I’d be able to learn HHKB layout; definitely need to switch some things to sorta mimic a traditional layout.

I’m new to the hobby, so I’ve admittedly been watching videos trying to figure out exactly how HHKB actually works, and I just don’t think I’d be able to get my brain to adapt to it.

That being said, this board is so ****ing sexy. I need it.
