When will this be up on the site with the extension kit? I really want one of dem GMKs :(

Unfortunately you've missed the boat mate, they did pre-sales on the website and it sold out a few months ago.
Just a wild guess, he might have in store available Dolch after all preorders are shipped. Most likely not the same price as pre purchase orders.

Unfortunately not, I sent him a message after it was pulled from their site and he confirmed they've pre-sold everything.

It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Ah I see, so not just preorders closed, but all sets in general.

They sold everything? Wow. Does that mean... 400 of them? Lol.

Hmmmm, lets see and time will tell. Something tells me once when preorders are cleared Dolch should be up for sale in his store, but lets wait and see.

He is going to order more Dolch so plenty to go around (eventually). Or just watch ebay for a Dolch Pac computer/keyboard combo and get an authentic set. Seen several sell recently for less than $60.

I know there were some cheap dolch packs maybe 3 months ago but hardly anything recently. Two come to mind and one of those didn't even show a picture of the keyboard and the other the guy didn't know what he had.

I've offered $100 for quite a few boards with no luck.

Yeah I've been watching the PAC sales like a hawk lately, last one I saw sold for over $130 and it didn't even break reserve. If I saw one for $60 I'd be all over it!

EDIT: The third picture in the above set looks much more true-to-life, to me. I missed it the first time around.

For anyone who hasn't seen dolch caps in person -- the caps in that picture look darker than my OG dolch set, I think/hope that's just due to the lighting in the pictures.

Here's a (terrible) picture of original dolch caps (the nums in this picture look a little lighter than they do in person, I think):

Yeah those look quite yellowed to me, they need a good go over in some peroxide!
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

wow all went into panic mode, as far as I can see 3 pics are there, I don't worry because I have seen pics from the Dolch in bad lightning and it looks darker, those 3 pics have weak lightning to them, that's why the 3rd pic is the most accurate because you can see the true colors....

Wow, that's the first keyset I have something to compare our set to.  I have been looking at pictures of multiple Dolch sets, but all the lighting are just off or my set is wrong.  Our set looks like the one that demik posted though.  Thanks demik, you have great visual memory.

Here is another picture that someone sent to me.  I think it belongs to nnatnam. http://i.imgur.com/BsRqe6K.jpg

It looks pretty close to this as well.

You know you're not making things any better for those of us who missed out? ;) :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I made a mistake on the first 2 Classic sets.

For both of them, the white colored keycap was too strong.
For Olivetti, the beige was suppose to be darker.

The Orange Ski Data was not my problem as GMK did not have the orange color available.  The company have swapped to a different orange since the first one.

All of these sets also had the wrong Tab Legend.

I always want to keep my sets very classic, but I want to change them up as well.  The first 2 sets were not intended to be a mess up.

For the Dolch set, I tried to make sure everything was right from the Tab to the color (and the color is indeed correct).  I try to listen to the majority of you guys, but it's not always easy for 1 person to try to get everything right the first time.  I'm always trying to add something a little extra to differentiate it from the original as well such as the Extension set.  I hope you guys understand, and I will try to gather an interest for such items instead next time!

Love your work mate, really appreciate your efforts in bringing us GMK goodies :)
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Yeah, you put in so much effort into GMK buys. I just wish you would add short right shift into the package :)

I missed out on the Dolch set from Originative but I was very lucky to obtain an original Dolch set (no pun intended) for my Phantom Ansi 125. Here is pic of the set I have for a comparison with a Moogle kit

I will do a side by side photo of original Dolch next to Sherry Dolch, once mine arrives.
(no shipping email yet TT)

For Olivetti, the beige was suppose to be darker.

I had a feeling that something was off about my gmk beige set, from the day i started using it more..but it's good to know that something is off for real.
