Q : What's the difference between a chipmunk and a squirrel?
A : About 2 minutes at gas mark 5.

My avatar is, it appears, actually a chipmunk.  A chipmunk, however, is a member of the squirrel family, and if you goddamn septics would stop renaming things when they have perfectly viable names already, I would have been right from the start.  So, let's get this straight:

Horseys :

Kitteh :

etc etc

It's a squirrel.  With a little purple flower.  Aaaaaaaaah.
Squirrels are my favorite animal:)

Mine is the front air intakes of my desktop back home. A Zalman Z-Machine GT-1000 of which I changed the intake fans and did some minor modifications on.

(ancient picture btw)

It was an expensive case, outdated in certain ways and difficult to route cables. But it still looks incredibly badass and luxurious on my desk...
I haven't seen it in a while, since I am studying abroad right now. I will probably have to do some cleaning by the time I get back. :P

Mine is an album art because I really like the tiger.

The album is fun too. Sometimes I just want to hear 90s punk from Colombia.
i have seen unix admins with john deere trucker hats, and even seen a man in a nascar shirt correct a passerby's klingon.

I'm not sure if you know, but before that user had the $5 one, he had the $250 exactly like that.

You just blew my mind.

$250 is no jest -- it's the world we used to live in just a few short months ago.

I did not know, but now that I do, his avatar is even better in my eyes.

Yeah, I'm aware of this -- hence, the $250 avatar. It almost symbolizes our illogical, impulsive purchases. Almost.

If you like dnb then you should like it. It's a compliation album from the concert. The pirate station concerts are the biggest dnb shows in the world, and they generally have a great selection of djs.

Well, my last name starts with a Z. Aside from that, it's a simple version of a plan I have for a future logo for my future web design/development business. This is just the uppercase Z from the typeface ChunkFive. My logo is going to be a much nicer Z, more like what you'd see on a varsity jacket.

Also, I'm really anal, so I made the background transparent to fit with the forms alternating background colour.

Mine's a random Windows XP beta boot screen that I originally used on a beta-related site, as it was a very much relevant avatar. While I typically do hate animated gifs, the size is small enough it doesn't take forever to load and it's not really distracting from what I've seen, if anyone feels it is distracting i can just go to a still version.

It took me a few hours in gimp... (Yeah... I still don't really know how to use gimp, but whenever I need a different sized avatar I can make it from the source file. Which means I'm not totally incompetent...)

It is a symbol that I made MANY years ago (except that the avatar version is missing the infinity symbol underneath. With how small avatars are often limited to I figured it would be best to just chop that off.) I still remember when 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' came out... The symbol for the deathly hallows was very similar... Though I suppose there were quite a few other's that were similar long before then, I never really noticed until after deathly hallows came out...

Mine Deathly Hallows

Took a while to get that picture together... I had to get more orange juice, fill cup, find straw, cut out the Star of David (took like 20 minutes) and then paste it on. Finally, I had my mom hold a napkin as a backdrop to make the flash reflect back and look better. So... it was like a half an hour project :P
