I have a Focus 5001 with a defunct calculator, and I am interested in learning how your replacement calculator project is coming along.  I really don't care what power source you use; whatever is fine.  If the replacement unit will fit in a 5001, I don't have any problem with minor interior case modifications. I don't need to send calc data to the computer.  Don't need clock or RPN, but those are fine.

I'm in Texas.

How are you coming with this?  Please advise.
