Acrylic ErgoDox Case
« on: Thu, 02 October 2014, 11:35:09 »
I have access to a water jet cutter at my university and wanted to know where I could find the files for a layered acrylic ErgoDox case similar to the one they sell at mechanicalkeyboards.com with PCB mount stabilizer support. Would I have to design it myself? I would also probably be able to make more than one if anyone else is interested. Thanks for any help or input.

Classic or Full-hand?

I think I got my copy from GitHub, but also possibly just attached to the 'ergodox' thread that's stickied and has about a thousand posts to dredge through.

I'm running a GB for cases in metal, using the same files ... I see if I can't get them to you.

Sorry, no. They're missing. Have been for quite a while now.

Here, I had somebody downgrade the .dxf to be Autocad-2000 compatible. Those are the classic files but I've got full hand too.

Thanks for the link AKmalamute! With the mk.com version with the aluminum top plate, is the top layer the same but in metal? Thanks.

EDIT: Also, do you recommend classic or full-hand? Are there drawbacks to either one?

Right, it does not work any more.
There were times when it worked. I downloaded it from there.
