Got my storm troopers yesterday and my GDC collection is starting to grow!
I was drooling over them ever since Ive seen prototypes on KBDLab and now in my possesion I can honestly say they're better than I thought.
Gotta catch 'em all!!
The black one has a dark grey tone to the color, it would have been better darker for the general mass but just right for my needs.
The white one is a milky white, not too bright of a color, just right for the color scheme.
The red one is misleading... under bright light it looks pink but while shaded it looks like it's dark red.
And the transparent ones resembles gummy bears, transparent red being my personal favorite
He claims he gives each a finishing touch after receiving them from the manufacturer.
And as expected... the detail in GDC's work is apparent even in his plastic line, a solid piece of artwork.
The black trooper is a perfect color match with GMK Dolch(Special thanks to ZEAL) and the casing on the 660c(Nova mod).
Considering MX stems on the Novatouch sliders are a bit looser than original cherry's stems, the troopers give a snug fit.
So I expect the them to be a tight fit on MX switches.
I dont have the OG metallic trooper so its hard to make a comparison between the two, but thats next on my list
Hopefully more members here can get their hands on these troopers from retailers in the states or GDC's website (coming soon!).
