I'm happy what I have just now. Maybe in 5 years I maybe get something that will be new then, but for now, for the amount of gaming I do, its more than enough for me:)

Is it already available? I dont follow audio/video news :)

it's available now, they've got the alienware monitor, smaller, and 55 and 65 samsung tv.  there's a sony one too.

Tp4 scratches head at, A million-to-one static contrast ratio,   

Va panel can do ~8000:1 tops
IPS 1500:1
Dual layer LMCL 125000:1

So I guess it's not LCD ? but then it has backlight ?  it's probably not static contrast 1M:1 , prolly dynamic backlight.

165hz, guessing it's a VA-panel?

I read ages ago that Silent Hill was planned for remake/remaster.

In 2022, in an interview with French gaming website JeuxVideo.Com, Christophe Gans (director of the 2006 Silent Hill movie) confirmed that he had completed a script for a third Silent Hill film, and is aiming for a 2023 release for the project. He later reiterated this in an interview with JeuxActu, and elaborated that the third film project is to be part of what will be a 'relaunch' of the Silent Hill brand, accompanied by new video games. The third film project and relaunch of the video game series have not yet been officially confirmed by Konami.

Oh I know they've been working on a new game for the series - they were looking to do something along the lines of how they rebooted Tomb Raider, other than I can see them leaning more into how Capcom re-booted RE series.
