I got mine a week ago, haven't gotten around to lining up all the SIP sockets for the switch LEDs (although they're in). Nerd 60 with Clears.

Edit: Now with more pictures, since someone asked :) Oh, and I finished the LEDs!

It's Gateron Clear Top!    The LEDs may put into the switch inside,  Not the conventional outside.   The Top can be opened without desoldering LEDs.

It looks like Cherry MX Blues with clear Gateron switch top covers to me.

Hmm...interesting.  I should try these out when I get some Gateron switches with the clear lower housing.

Lovely MX Green Switches in a clear Top!   Mating with the case is gorgeous to me.   :o :o

PS.  btw, The MX Green color seems suspicious, compare to the Turquoise plate.  8) ::)

Sprit asked me to upload some pictures of the parts I got from him in January 2015. Sorry for the delay... I was hoping to get the board completed before posting pictures but I didn't want to put in LEDs before my clear switch tops from Shadovved arrived.

FaceW, Cherry MX white, Vortex backlit doubleshot pbt keycaps, mostly HHKB layout but with extra mods for more fun.
Waiting on clear switch tops to put in cyan or blue leds.

Very nice! Mine's going to be really similar. I'm still debating about the clear switch tops - I know they'll make any board look awesome, but I heard there are some clearance issues with the 2x3x4 leds so I think you need to dremel the sides a bit so they fit in the covers.  :(

Sprit 60% with 78g Sprit Gold Springs with Gateron Blacks.

I have another Sprit 60% to assemble, just enjoying this build at the moment.

Still waiting on my 87 case ordered in Dec 2013. Very excited to join everyone though! Cant wait for the ALPS PCB.
If you live in AZ you can try my keyboards. I usually keep plenty of different ALPS and MX and buckling springs.

I don't have any issues with my Desko set (Cherry profile) and 2x3x4 LEDs.

My sprit pcb  + plate. The space cutout is a bit weird, but overall I really like it. The 5mm acrylic plate feels great!

Nice!  :)

Space bar cut is open, due to the Plate is 5mm Thick.
- pros  :  You dont have to worry about the stab wires hang off.

If it were normal 1.5mm Thin plate, it would be closed.   ;)
-  cons  : You may have a headache, when the stab wire goes off the trail.  sometimes you have to desolder the plate.

Yep, I think the clearance issue is only with the clear switch tops from Gateron (or another brand that I can't think of right now) and the 2x3x4 leds. Check out LastPilot's LZ-S build log here https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=69764.0. He illustrates the issue in detail.

I did the same thing >_< Only realized after I noticed that the protection sheet increased the plate thickness just enough so that the switches in the plate wouldn't be flush against the pcb. Had to fix it or else I'd have different key heights for some mods and keys

There is a simple Assemble guide .   I try to peel the sheet off a bit before shipping.
Acrylic Plates and Cases are very transparent by itself.

The bottom-side LEDs - does SPRiT's 60% PCB support them, or was it a "homebrew" solution? (Looking at the pics of the PCBs in the other SPRiT's thread, I didn't see extra pads for LEDs are resistors there...)

The bottom-side LEDs - does SPRiT's 60% PCB support them, or was it a "homebrew" solution? (Looking at the pics of the PCBs in the other SPRiT's thread, I didn't see extra pads for LEDs are resistors there...)

Homebrew! 2x3x4mm LEDs in the switches and SMD LEDs sharing the same pads on the bottom. The LED brightness decreases a bit, but it's still bright enough.

Those are both fantastic!  Especially the yellow one ;D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thanks!

Its been pointed out me that I've been incorrectly referring to Sprit as Spirit. I've seen his name a bunch of times, but it just never registered correctly in my brain. I feel bad.

Sorry Sprit!

I do, I've recommended it to a few people! It's quite sturdy and I think it has a great sound to it. It's also great at distributing the LED lights.
