Title: Topre Realforce 87U and Scroll Lock
Post by: qk6339zmdm on Mon, 20 April 2009, 23:21:00
Got my 87U this weekend and like it very much (thanks stlensbar!)...

The only question I have is, how do you trigger Scroll Lock on it, for use with a KVM?  I tried the key by itself, with shift, control, shift-control, other combinations, with DIP switch 3 turned on and off to no avail...

Scroll Lock = Shift + Num-Lock

Yep, shift+NumLock was the first thing I tried.  I think I'll swap out my KVM with one that has a hard switch, instead of just relying on a hotkey sequence.

Well, RTFM!  This saved me from buying a new KVM.  The IOGEAR GCS634U I'm using can be set to use Ctrl as a hot key instead of ScrlLk.

I wonder if Topre will fix this minor issue with a firmware update and DIP switch 4 will actually come in handy...
