Why do these Ebay sellers never post the backs? **** makes me mad, but I suppose with Ebay you could always refute the charges.

That was one of the first ones I saw after joining GH, and one of the ones I most want.  And, unfortunately, one of the ones I am most unlikely to get.  It was especially the case as my first modern mechanical keyboard had (still has) red backlighting.

Anyone here have an idea as to what I just purchased??

Been doing your research, eh? ;)

I haven't seen a lot of the gray ones around, and the few there are seem to go for $100+.

Probably $70-100, they don't come up very often though.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I've never had *any* success with figuring out numbers of Clacks in general. That especially goes for BS clacks. I've been wondering the same about the Enviro BS clacks that Hoffman and I have.

The moral of this story is that you need to post more pics of your Clacks more often.  Sharing is caring. :)

Since there's two of them, I'm guessing counterfeit. Plus I see bubbles in the cap and I have never seen bubbles in one of Clacks trans or semi-trans caps.  Got to love how low some people will go.

Edit:  There's an outside chance it could be Ice or Ice Blue, but I highly doubt it.

Or message him on here asking whats up.

TBH it seems kinda fishy, because on OTD the title of his post is "Gift from my friend" which is just setting it up to be where he can dodge responsibility, similar to how DrugER did/tried.

They could be real though, I am not going to throw out accusations.

I know, seriously.  Poor Clack never gets a break.  From people flipping his caps, some almost immediately (rarar ಠ_ಠ), to counterfeits, to hurting his back, poor guy is always having something go wrong.  I think it's time we put a bounty on people who willingly buy and sell counterfeit Clacks.

Not this again.

Sad thing is there are tons of people here who would gladly buy those fake clacks.....

And then resell them for a profit.

There's too many people out there only looking after themselves and engaging in unethical behavior and/or just trying to make a quick buck.  I've seen too many people justify buying and selling the copies by saying, "well, if he won't meet market demand, someone has to".  I guess I should start counterfeiting works by Monet , Banksy, C215, Blek le Rat, and other artists.

I wouldn't fault you for counterfeiting a Damien Hirst or Shepard Fairey though.

WELL ON MORE POSITIVE NEWS:

F2 black is the same color family as my original black clack.  Both lack the purple hue of my 3 other Depth Black clacks.  What exactly is this black shade.... the mystery continues!

Yeah i'm getting a little tired of the entitlement around here lately.

"OmG I can't get a clack/bro/KBK so unfair you guise!"

Then I look and they've been registered for like a week. Drives me bonkers.

Yeah you're probably right, I guess I just see it a lot more these days now that Bro and KBK are putting out such awesome stuff too. Used to only see them in the Clack Therapy thread.

Yup, pretty much. I got lucky when I first joined with a dibs, but then went nearly a year and a half missing out on everything. Then I got a bunch of Clacks all around the same time period and it was awesome :D

You newbies need to suffer. You need to know what want feels like. You need to feel the pain, and drink your own tears before being allowed the privilege.

You know what really grinds my gears? People who join GH just for a Clack sale, then turn around and flip 'em and leave GH until the next 4grabs.

People who only hang around at Clack sales piss me off regardless of what they do with it afterwards. At least when they go to regular contributors we get to see photos!

Lol now I sound butthurt! In all seriousness I think you hit the nail on the head earlier, people need to spend a bit of time feeling the pain while they wait for their first clack. At least that way you appreciate it. Take me for example. Took me over a year to get my first Clack, when I first started looking at them Mint Gum was one of my least favorite colors. Now that I have one I wouldn't trade it for anything, it's grown to be one of my favorite combos with my Dolch/WoB board.

Haha yeah, pretty sure the Post Your Clacks thread has become more of an auction house these days. Someone posts a picture and BAM, a week later someone posts the same clack.

Or learn how to access the International Clack Exchange. Took me forever to figure out how to get in there.
